General Rules:
1. Setup and Load-In:
• Vendors must arrive on time for load-in, starting at 8:00 AM.
• All vehicles must be off the rooftop by 10:40 AM, and no vehicles are permitted in after 10:30 AM.
• Setup in your booth can only begin after your vehicle has been parked in the vendor lot.
• Vendors are required to unload their vehicle quickly and efficiently to keep traffic moving.
2. Parking:
• Vendor parking is strictly prohibited on the 2nd floor.
• Once parked in the vendor lot or on the street, vendors are not allowed to re-enter the load-in line.
3. Booth Setup and Operation:
• All vendor items, displays, and merchandise must be contained within the designated booth space.
• No booths should obstruct walkways or neighboring vendor spaces.
• Umbrellas provided by Los Feliz Flea must not be moved under any circumstances.
• Vendors must have sandbags or proper weights ready to secure umbrellas and tents in the event of wind.
4. Dog Policy:
• Dogs are allowed, but vendors must use the designated dog area near the portable toilets.
• Dogs must not relieve themselves on the vendor grass. Failure to comply will result in removal of the grass, which is costly.
5. Vendor Conduct:
• Vendors must treat customers, other vendors, and staff with courtesy and respect.
• Booth sharing is rarely allowed. Both parties must be approved vendors, or violators will not be permitted to return.
Prohibited Actions:
1. Late Arrival or Failure to Adhere to Load-In Rules:
• Arriving late (after 10:30 AM) will result in the forfeiture of your booth space without a refund. You may still cart in but are subject to Ramp or Stairs access only.
2. Blocking Traffic or Driveways:
• Vendors are prohibited from parking in a manner that impedes traffic or blocks driveways. Cars must stay close to the curb.
3. Parking Violations:
• Parking on the 2nd floor is prohibited, and violators risk having their accounts deactivated.
4. Vehicle on the Grass:
• Driving or parking on the grass is strictly prohibited. Violators will face immediate deactivation of their account.
5. Selling Unapproved or Illegal Items:
• Vendors are not permitted to sell items that violate the market’s guidelines (e.g., illegal products, counterfeit goods).
6. Smoking:
• Smoking is strictly prohibited on the roof, inside the building, and in the parking areas. This includes vaping and any form of e-cigarettes.
7. Moving Umbrellas:
• Vendors are not allowed to move umbrellas provided by Los Feliz Flea. These must remain in their designated spots to ensure the safety of all vendors and customers.
8. Failure to Secure Tents or Umbrellas:
• Vendors must ensure they have sandbags or other weights ready to secure tents and umbrellas. Failure to do so may result in fines or account deactivation.
9. Failure to Clean Up:
• Vendors are responsible for cleaning their booth areas. Leaving trash or damaging the area can result in penalties or account deactivation.
Consequences for Violations:
1. First Offense:
• 60-day account deactivation.
2. Second Offense:
• Permanent account deactivation.
3. Fines:
• Vendors failing to vacate the premises by 6:30 PM will incur a $100 fine to cover additional staff and venue costs.
